Thesis

There is a revolution taking form that is significantly influencing how the western medical community views health and disease. Unless we can measure something, science won’t concede it exists, which is why science refuses to deal with such “nothings” as the emotions, the minds, the soul or the spirit. Measurement is the foundation of the modern scientific method, the means by which the material world is admitted into existence.

When both the therapist and recipient believe that a particular modality is the best answer for the problem, there is a belief system set in motion that will undoubtedly have success.

Healing with plans and plant derived substances has been in existence for at least 5000 years. Herbology has been emerging as a great therapy of vast interest and promise in the past 30 years. We are seeing a rise of alternative medicine modalities, whereas people want freedom of choice to direct one’s choice of health without relying upon well financed and highly profitable pharmaceuticals and conventional technology.

This new technology has allowed for traditional medicine to understand itself by finding the how’s and the why’s of the complexity of different modalities. Here are some examples of modalities used in the past, present and will be in the future.

A) Essential Oils if the volatile lipid (oil) soluble portion of he fluids of a plant containing odiferous compounds produced by steam distillation of vegetable plant matter. This would include any part of a botanical species including: stems, branches, fruits, flowers, seeds, roots, bark, needles, leaves, etc. Essential oils serve the needs of plants before they serve us. What they do for us, they have already practiced on plans, thus they come to us as experienced helpers and healers. (Stewart, page 51) Therapeutic grade essential oils resonate with coherent frequencies which enables them to bring order back to a disordered, diseased body and mind. (Stewart, page 200)

B) Peptides in the body: Molecules of Emotion is a molecule found on the surface of cells in body and brain called the opiate receptor. (Pert, page 20) This receptor is a single molecule, perhaps the rarest and complicated kind of molecule there is. All receptors are proteins and they cluster in the cellular membrane waiting for the right chemical to get through the extra cellular fluid and “fitting” into their individual “keyholes” which is called binding. Peptides are chemicals which play a wide role in regulating practically all life processes and are in the other half of the equation of what Candace Perk likes to call Molecules of Emotion. Peptides are made up of strings of amino acids. Visualize this: If the cell is the engine that drives all life, then the receptors are the buttons on the control panel of that engine, and specific peptides is the finger that pushes that button and when the button is pushed, the whole process gets started.

C) Traditional Chinese Medicine is a pre-scientific system of thought and practice developed over thousands of years. It is a form of logical, rational thinking and is deeply rooted in a philosophy that has developed its own perception of the body, health and disease. TCM uses different methods than Western/Scientific ways to discover what is ailing the body and to help it heal. It is seeing the relationship of the symptom ~ to the whole body. For the Chinese, the body has no weaver; no creator. In the west, the final concern is the result or symptom. They focus on the branch and the root cause. The West treats what is ailing the patient; the East finds the root cause and slowly breaks down the walls by treatment to get the real issue. (This could be an emotionally caused disease). The difference here from today’s medicine is that the doctors today view the issue at hand and treat, while the Natural Medicine Doctors try to view the whole body as one and treats is with a holistic approach. This holistic approach could include acupuncture, massage therapy, nutrition, herbs, exercise and non-invasive techniques for healing.

D) Flower Essence Therapy is a form of vibrational medicine in which the vibrational signatures of flowers are imprinted on spring water by sunlight in the morning. Flower essence therapy is primarily a therapy of the should. All of the 38 Bach Flower Essences are specific for emotional conditions. All but one is based on single wild flowers or tree blossoms. The exception, Rock Flower, is made from the water of natural spring with healing properties. The flower essence therapist must take into account how change is grounded and stabilized in the body and how it is freed and illuminated through the spirit (Kaminski & Katz, page 87) Bach Flower Essences encourage the body’s own healing process by restoring and maintaining emotional balance and clarity. It’s a medical fact that emotional stress impacts health and well being. Doctors, psychologists and healthcare professionals often diagnose stress as an underlying cause of physical problems.

Seek the outstanding mental conflict in a person,
Give them the remedy that will overcome that conflict
And all the hope and encouragement you can.
Then the virtue within them will do all the rest.
Treat the cause not the effect

Dr. Edward Bach

E) Chelation therapy is a series of intravenous infusions containing disodium EDTA (Some ligands can bond to a metal atom using more that two pairs of electrons. An example is ethylenediamminetetraacetate ion (EDTA4), forms very stable complexes with most of the transition metals and various other substances). Proponents claim that EDTA chelation therapy is effective against atherosclerosis and many other serious health problems. Its use is widespread because patients have been led to believe that it is a valid alternative to estaQuantum Touchblished medical interventions such as coronary bypass surgery. However, there is no scientific evidence that this is so (8). As a master herbalist, I would recommend it to my clients as a most effective natural treatment and prevention for cardiovascular disease. Chelation Therapy helps remove harmful substances and eliminate them from the circulatory system. It is available in 2 forms: intravenously (as mentioned above) and orally. People find oral chelation more convenient and just as effective.
F) Quantum Touch is an energy technique using life-force energy that uses light touch without physical manipulation. While this therapeutic haling technique can be used along it also enhances all healing modalities, energy and body work techniques. Modern science tells us that the human organism is not just a physical structure, that, like everything else, we are also composed of energy fields. (Brennan, page 20) The practitioner focuses and amplified life-force energy, which is most often referred to as Qi “Chi” or “prana”. This is accomplished by combining various breathing and body awareness exercises. When the practitioner holds a high vibrational field (frequency) of life-force energy around an affected area, though a process of resonance and entrainment, the client naturally matches the vibration of the practitioner, allowing one’s own biological intelligence to do whatever healing it deems necessary.

Love is a vibrational frequency; in fact it is one of the highest. Our vibrations automatically rise as we begin living and loving unconditionally. We begin to take responsibility for creating our own health, wealth and happiness.

G) Lifestyles ~ optimum diet. Dr Andrew Weil states in his tapes that eating and lifestyles are what make you. You are what you eat! His view is to aim for a variety and include as much fresh food as possible in the diet. Minimize the consumption of processed and fast food, and eat an abundance of fruits and vegetables, and try to include carbohydrates, fat and protein in every meal. Most adults need to consume between 2,000 to 3,000 calories a day. Woman and smaller, less active people require fewer calories; men and larger, more active people need more calories. The distribution of calories taken should be: 40% to 50% from carbohydrates, 3% from fat and 20 to 30% from protein. Dr. Weil’s way is a) Meditation, b) nutrition, c) diet and d) exercise. Without eating and proper exercise, the body cannot function properly from the inside out. The energy field depletes itself and with the outside forces i.e.: pollution, noise, and stress, the body brakes down and gets sick and/or diseased. It is very important to stay healthy, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

H) FDA ~ The Food and Drug Administration is the “over looker” of all medicine (which is only one of their components) in the country. They are in control of all pharmaceutical drugs created for the health of our society in the U.S. The FDA influences which drugs are used throughout society, by only approving certain pharmaceutically made drugs. If the FDA doesn’t pass a certain drug, then society cannot take or administer it.

The new complexity of understanding the process of everything that God has put on this earth as his creation, has allowed us to use formulas in the experimental factor. Becoming attuned with the plants to understand why the plants have these special features and how we can as humans, use them to create the proper blends to help prevent certain diseases. Diseases transform because of the environment that humans are destroying and/or changing on a daily basis.

Many people believe that herbal remedies are safe because of their nature. There are herb/oil/remedies which, when taken, can cause many side effects whether it has been taken internally or used externally on their body. ALL HERBS ARE TOXIC IN EXCESS and can cause unpredictable reactions when mixed with other herbs and/or medication. For example, Essential Oils are concentrated and one should never put directly on the skin. This should be mixed with carrier oil (diluted) to prevent a reaction to the body.

Think of herbs in terms of improving health rather than curing ailments. Used regularly and in moderation as part of a balanced diet and lifestyle, herbs can boost immunity and give a sense of well-being. (Green, page 41)

The Future of Natural Medicine depends mainly on a BELIEF system. If the patient doesn’t believe natural cures will help, then it probably will not. The patient will not take the medicine at the appropriate time and/or at a level to be able to help him/her, most people, who get ill, want a cure NOW! The people don’t look at their surroundings to see why/how they have gotten this disease. They forget to look at everyday stress, pollution, and emotions. Below is a chart that compares natural medicine of herbs to pharmaceutical drugs (Green, page 300)

  HERBS DRUGS
Action  Often multiple  Usually just one (often using a single specific receptor site)
Often enhances body’s own healing abilities No drug does this
Addresses casual factors of an illness   Mostly treats symptoms (can be life-saving in a crisis/emergency)
Active Constituents Many (synergistic)  Usually one
Side Effects  Few and mild Often many, can be severe
Onset of Action May be slow (working on a nutritional level)  Usually rapid and direct
Cost Variable (you can make your own)  Variable

One of the solutions of understanding the drug-drug and the drub-herb interactions is to recognize potential interactions and to take proper actions to prevent their occurrence. Know your drugs. Use the information that is accessible to you through books and websites.

As you can see both plays a very important role in modern day health care and disease control. Both provide excellent serviced to humans and non-humans when used with a clear mind, compassionate heart, and a healer’s intent.

As a natural healer, you must clearly educate the patient and clearly advise and direct the patient to self educate as to the risks and benefits of both types of medications. The motto for a natural healer is: DO NOT HARM, BE THANKFUL TO GOD FOR YOUR GIFT and THAT HE IS ALL-KNOWING. Lastly my motto is “Live, Love and Laugh.” Life is too short not to enjoy.

My future as a Master Herbalist will be to take all the knowledge, which I have accumulated and all the different modalities that are available to me and create an environment for myself and my clients to try and live by. To craft and unite the modalities, unique to the client so that whatever their ailments, challenges and issues, will help them, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to be a healthy human being.

It took human kind until the 19th century to figure out that the secret compounds of life are chains and rings. Man can try to imitate Gods creates in factories and labs, but in the end, only God can create all things. We must learn to respect that, in order to receive their benefits.

I conclude from my research that the future of Natural medicine will grow to be the primary source of health solutions for all humanity.

THE CREATOR IS CONSCIOUSNESS AND CONSCIOUSNESS IS LOVE

The Web That Has No Weaver

Author: Ted J. Kaptchuk O.M.D

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TMC) has been around for over 5000 years. It is said that Chinese philosophy and medicine are based on Taoist consciousness and on Yin-Yang theory, which is totally a different view from the West. The Chinese approach is a more holistic consideration of health and disease and the interconnection between all living forces on the earth. Their prospective on healing begins with knowing how the body is functioning from the inside and get down to the “root” of the problem. A TCM physician feels unworthy if his/her patient becomes ill, due to the fact they did not do their job well. This is preventative medicine to keep their patient healthy, happy and content in life (spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally). The physicians must understand the whole body and how it functions.

The Chinese Medicine has different ways of diagnosing the ailments of the person. By observing the functions of the body, mentioned below, the practitioner can prescribe e proper herbs and/or modalities. TCM is based on seeing the relationship of the symptom and how it relates to the whole body, not just where the problem lies. Mr. Kaptchuk compares the Easter medicine to Western as “Western medicine is concerned mainly with isolable disease categories or agents of disease which it zeroes in on, isolates and tries to change, control or destroy”. This is a completely different philosophy them TCM.

Diagnosing methods in TCM has 4 basic examinations: 1) Looking, 2) Listening, 3) Smelling and 4) Asking and Touching. Below are a few examples of how TCM physicians arrive at their diagnosis:

a) Colour of the face/skin ~ The colour of the face and its moistness are closely related to the body’s qi and blood. TCM believes that all body energies our upward into the face.
b) Pulse ~ The heart of the examination. TCM medicine emphasizes taking it at a radial artery near the wrist with both patient and physician relaxed. This is important because disharmonies in the body leave a clear imprint on the pulse.
c) Tongue ~ The interpretation is always essential when diagnosing the patient. It is one of the pillars of the four examinations of TCM, the pulse is the other. Chinese physicians make a distinction between the tongue material and the coating of the tongue.
d) Mental state ~ Chinese medicate practitioners have always recognized that emotional factors play a part in health and illness. Physical and emotional health cannot be separated. This is why concern for the psychological texture of the patient MUST be a part of the examination.
e) Diet ~ Considered an important influence on health and illness in TCM. They believe that deficient qi (pronounced chi) and blood will have effects on the spleen (which is responsible for transforming food into qi and blood). Qi is the energy flow around the outside and inside of the body.

TCM has the theory of Yin and Yang. This theory has greater flexibility in diagnosis of the patient. This theory is based on the philosophical construct of two polar compliments, which are opposites, however, neither forces nor material entities. They are convenient labels used to describe how thins function in relation to each other and to the universe. This includes the inside and the outside of the body. All organs react to other organs and how they react to what is going on in a persons’ life. Yin is associated with qualities of cold, rest responsiveness, passivity, darkness, downwardness, inwardness and decrease. Whereas Yang represents or implies the brightness, heat, stimulation, movement, activity, vigor, light, exterior, upward ness, outward ness and increase. As you can see, they are opposites yet need each other to complete the circle of life. However, Yin and Yang can be divided into themselves even further. The physician uses his perception (diagnosis mentioned above) to recognize disharmony and must apply his specialized skills to try to restore health – to achieve balance and harmony within a living organism. Yin and Yang produce each other, imply each other, and finally ARE each other.

LaoTzu, the earliest Taoist sage, formulated the following understanding of the nature of reality:

To be bent is to become straight
To be empty is to be full
To be worn out is to be renewed
To have little is to possess

TCM ways to treat ailments:

1) Herbs ~ TCM has dedicated thousands of years to their cultivations and experiments of herbs and how the body reacts to them. The herbs go hand in hand with the treatment and diagnosis of the patient
2) Acupuncture ~ Insertion of very fine needles into points along the Meridian can rebalance the body’s disharmonies.
3) Physical Activity ~ Tai Chi – A form of exercise to move the body’s energy around using mind, body and spirit to help the meridians flow properly. Also, TCM believes it will help the qi.
4) Massage Therapy ~ Type of therapy TCM uses to move around the infernal and external qi (energy) and blood to help all the other organs heal and recognize what each is doing.
5) Essential Oils ~ Used to help the herbs and all the different modalities to work together as one body, one unit.
6) Energy Work ~ Helps to create an environment that the body can recognize and help everything work together to form the perfect healing/holy place. Energy work takes a lot of concentration and it’s usually something you must believe in, for it to be able to help you.

I believe this book and its methods can benefit Master Herbalist’s future by understanding TCM thought process. TCM has been mixing, managing and using different herbs from around the world for many, many years and with no invasive techniques. Simply by observing, feeling and smelling, they have helped the ‘whole person” not just his/her issues at hand.

People are not satisfied with today’s medicine. It’s not doing what they want. They have realized that they cannot get an instant cure for everything. The body takes time to process and heal. With TCM (The New Age Medicine), it helps the body heal itself with the different human modalities and the nature, which God has given to us.

Let’s all welcome Allergy season with open arms. You don’t have to stay indoors and suffer the runny nose, water eyes and sneezing. I have seen so many people in my practice within the last month complaining about allergies. The weeds, pollen and the start up of the air conditioning units are all contributors to most air born allergies My clients are tired of taking, over the counter drugs and prescriptions with little or no results.

I like to explain to my clients that I treat the cause not the symptom. After assessing the body through an EAV biofeedback assessment, and exploring the intestinal tract through the meridians points, we determine what homeopathics and/or botanicals will help the body to restore it to its natural state. According to the Royal Academy of Physicians of Great Britain, “90% of all disease and discomfort is directly or indirectly related to an unclean colon.” The academy identified 36 types of toxins that can form in the large intestine, get into the blood stream and “literally” destroy our bodies. So let’s “heal and seal the gut” and help the body rid itself of the sensitivities.

All natural remedies work different for each individual person. Some may need more botanicals and less homeopathics, some visa-versa. Which ever the case, I customize the remedies to my clients needs.  If you choose to go the natural way for your allergies, please find a practitioner that will help guide you on your journey to health!

Some say the depression is a fact of life, other say it’s a disease. We have ups and downs because of the decision we make and sometimes they are not the best ones, either! The fact is that anxiety and depression is a lowering of vital powers or spirits, feeling melancholy, especially psychopathic melancholy leading to mental disorders. Types of depression can be varied with numerous causes from seasonal changes( SAD), stress, trauma, chemical imbalances, thyroid disorders, blood sugar disorders, allergies, viruses, poor nutrition, candida, insomnia and low cortisol levels – just to name a few!Lithium Homeopathic Liquid, is a mood stabilizer that alters the periods of rhythmic cycling of the brain. It interacts with the normal function of sodium ions to produce numerous changes in the neurotransmitter activity of the brain. I have found it to be successful when used in connection with depression, nervousness, anxiety, in very small doses.  Vitamin B complex is also essential for normal brain & nervous system function and for factors of stress. Disturbances in calcium and magnesium metabolism can contribute to depression. Are you taking phosphorous for the body to absorb the calcium correctly? Is your calcium magnesium ratio 5:1? Color therapy can be useful and is now being taught in Colleges. Music can affect moods; vigorous exercise and/or yoga are effective antidotes for depression. Consider therapies, physical, emotional and spiritual, which establish healthy thought patterns. A healthy diet, gluten-free diet and proper nutrition are essential. Consumption of sugar and glycemic imbalances can aggravate depression. In recent news, researchers at University College London found that a diet heavy in processed and fatty foods increased the risk of depression by 58 %, according to British research.REMEMBER, YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE, WHAT ARE YOU PUTTING INTO IT?
YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

Have you ever wondered how to repair and rebuild the body? We work all day long, 8 –10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week, take care of the children, do laundry, make dinner, and do all of the shopping. By the time the week is over, we are exhausted and totally depleted of all energy – including the extra tank you have stored – around those hips! A wise person once told me, if you don’t take care of yourself, you will not be able to care for others. WOW, I know, everyone has heard that once in his or her lifetime. Especially women, but do we listen? Hell no!

I recently took a 2-week sabbatical from the office and went to a remote cabin in the Canadian Rockies. Yes, I know its wintertime there, but the serenity and quietness was unbelievable. When it snowed, you could hear the snowflakes flying, and the sound of them landing on the ground, unbelievable!  The air was refreshing, and you could smell every type of tree. The evergreen sap and the pine needles engulf the atmosphere, and it fills your senses with new thoughts, purity, and healing.

One of the great rejuvenating things I did was to hug trees. These trees were 6-8 feet in diameter. Talk about energy flowing from a beautiful natural creature God created. I could almost feel the pulse of the tree taking the toxins from the ground and providing beautiful clean air to breathe – just for me. I felt like I was the only one in the whole wide world without a care. And it only took 2 minutes! Then I made snow angels. I believe that if you let your inner child come out, at least for 5 minutes, your whole body thanks you for allowing the time to play, laugh and smile at the silliness of being a child once more.

My most favorite thing was building a snow/ice sculpture. It took around 6 hours, but I built a 6-foot dinosaur on the frozen lake. It took innovation, tenacity and physical strength to bring this item of beauty from out of the snow to life!  When I create a beast of snow, my mind gets lost in the design; how to bring it together, what natural items I will to use,  and how much love I am going to give it.

Don’t be afraid to let your inner child come out to play to get rejuvenated. “Find coziness under an old quilt, Listen to the quiet…it’s the world humming, heat with your own fire, wear big boots, (because life gets deep)” and most of all, be thankful and gracious for all that you have.

A new positive vision of health arises when medicine is defined by the science of quantum physics.  In the field of medicine today, besides the conventional allopathic approach, there are a many medicinal systems collectively called alternative or complementary medicine. Quantum Medicine is an approach based on quantum physics and the power of consciousness. Quantum Medicine seeks to integrate both parts, the conventional and alternative. Unless you understand the mechanics of quantum creativity, spontaneous healing is a random and hard-to-duplicate phenomenon. The following statements will help guide you to understanding yourself and your health.

Quantum Medicine – A new Paradigm and belief system for healing.

a)      Quantum physics reveals that consciousness is a fundamental reality, so the questions is  what is consciousness? Being aware of our own consciousness means being awake to our connection to our Life Source or Creator. The Life Source is the foundation (or the fabric) of the universe. In quantum physics – what we normally perceive as “things” is seen to be not things; instead, each “thing” is an “option,” a “possibility” for the consciousness to choose from.

b)      The Quantum Healer believes that the understanding of human beings has to be restored to a deeper and more integrated model based on Quantum Consciousness.  The whole focus is consciousness. In this model, the search to correct imbalance is going to the ultimate source. Consciousness is a product of a connection to the Creator or Life Source.   Integrative medicine moves in a downward causation. Starting to heal from the top down aligns with the thinking that our consciousness stems from our minds. It is an integrated vision where the spiritual is acknowledged as a part of the material world. New Medicine has forgotten what “Hippocrates” had defined as what medicine should be. New medicine has lost its Soul.

I choose, therefore I am and my world – is
~
Dr. Amit Goswami

c)       The Quantum Healer recognizes that the subjective and subtle experiences of the client are as important as the objective and physical experiences. Do you feel that you are in a box? All or most diseases have a connection with mind and body. If we feel we are in a box mentally, we cannot heal our physical ailments. Spontaneous healing is what everybody wants. If we can be in the “NOW” and will ourselves to solve inner conflict on a mental, spiritual, emotional basis, spontaneous healing will occur. Thoughts will become actualized. Most of society uses only the 1st, 2nd and 3rd chakras (bottom three). There are not many who use the upper chakras. Our society has forgotten how to feel with the heart, say what we mean, use our intuition and have divine connection with our creator.

d)      The Quantum Healer Believes that the healer/client, must be understood and experienced in his/her totality. Quantum Physics integrates God and medicine. Consciousness, or connection to God,  has the potential of actualization, creating waves of possibilities to choose from. Do not be obsessed with a diagnosis. Disease comes from the “Whole” body. The disease is only a symptom. Health is a journey toward personal growth involving integration of the entire being (gross and subtle levels). Our creative process has to be engaged simultaneously in all domains – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Look at all chakra’s and notice the growing process of awareness. Is there energy throughout the body? There must be, to have the full potential healing.  Do not look at what’s wrong (disease), BUT what is the potential of moving forward through consciousness. Disease is an opportunity for growth!

e)      The Quantum Healer Believes that the healer cannot dissociate him/herself from the client in the experience of healing (This is called entanglement)

In the relationship of quantum Dr. and client healer, the “normal”  hierarchy within the treatment system disappears, and the client becomes the mirror of the healer. This completely redefines the relationship between Practitioner/Healer and Client/Healee.  Brain = matter, mind = meaning.  Consequently, consciousness and thinking do not belong to the brain. Therefore the mind is better at processing meaning on the consciousness level. The brain is hardware and allows us to make up physical or imagined representations of the mental meaning. The brain is the processing machine. Our brain is like our computer, it cannot give meaning or depth of emotion to what is going on. The mind gives meaning and empowers the client/Healee; the mind will makes choices. Consciousness has the capacity to be aware of itself and transcend the physical boundaries. Integrative medicine works as a vertical movement from the top chakras and the conscious mind, down to the bottom chakras to heal the physical body.  Therefore holistic healing works with the mind and body on the deepest possible level.  Conventional medicine (symptomatic diagnosis) is horizontal. It is a superficial process of healing looking only at the physical layer.  It is a linear process of collecting information, which does not acknowledge the horizontal move the body must flow in for conscious healing. In integrative medicine the evaluation is horizontal as well as vertical.

f)       The Quantum Healer believes in power of intention. Intention is in its optimal state when it is pure. – THERE IS NO BENEFIT TO THE EGO. Intention occurs when we have the freedom to choose among quantum possibilities. Physical and mental intention become actual healing,  and that intention has come to fruition. This is the place where freedom is totally present. The healer finds truth within this total freedom. In Quantum medicine, both Doctor and Client heal together. One must consider the quality of the intention. What are the factors that influence the outcome? Is it prayer or physical therapies, or is it both. The client/healee has to make those choices along with the practitioner/healer. Remember that they both heal together in quantum medicine.

g)      The Quantum Healer must experience consciousness to open the possibility for a quantum leap.  How do we maintain the “manifestation” of healing? Quantum creativity is the path to understand the Quantum Leap. Dr. Deepak Chopra states that “Spontaneous Healing testimonies of quantum leaps is in the supra-mental (intuition). Quantum leaps release from the intention (supra-mental), which opens a new context and new meanings that allow for the quantum creativity. How do we open up to creativity in the body and have a quantum leap? For a quantum leap to take place, first we must prepare;  settle the intention, do an evaluation, and listen to the quiet (Know thyself) B) Purity of intention is key to making that leap C) SLOW DOWN! the physical body which has to heal and to create an openness and receptivity toward feelings. Since our feelings are related to the functioning of the programs that run the organs, there will be an unblocking of the feeling at the appropriate chakra corresponding to what was once, the used/diseased organs.

h)      The Quantum Healer believes that perfect health can be achieved when an individual is attuned with quantum consciousness – the innate intelligence within.  Healing from the top down creates the possibility and are the results of conscious choices. The individual is the artisan of his own world and imbalances. Through a process of awakening, he/she will progressively attune with his own Divine source and recreate the state of perfect health. Health is not only a symptom, but also in trying to stay with “balance within” Everyone has potentiality to actualize perfect health, to grow, evolve into radiant perfect health. Perfect health has nothing to do with age. It is about experience, enlightenenment and a state of process of growth, awakening, quality of heart and soul. When we are in the presence of people with positive and radiant health, we feel vitality and unexplained tingles in the body. Lightness seems to permeate the body and joy bubbles up. Who do you want to be with, someone sad or happy, healthy or sick, negative or positive? The choice is yours on your healing journey!

i)        The Quantum healer believes that the Healer and the healee, both, have the responsibility to grow in harmony with natural and universal laws.  Quantum consciousness is understanding that we are all connected. In our society, we have the realization that our actions to nature, affect our planet. Why did we take so long to see this? Because we have awareness, we know the consequences to our negative habits, which are also our “belief” habits. What bad habits, negative feelings, wrong meanings, disturbed emotions, etc, can do to our environment? Responsibility includes engaging in new patterns of behavior, feelings and thinking, to benefit ourselves, society and the world.  We pay attention to our body when it is sick, we listen, and try to make it feel better, finding/searching for solutions, on all levels of consciousness. Disease, pain and suffering are the pathways of awakening to a greater reality, – the quantum self. Did you know that 99% lead life through misinterpretation. The longer we hold onto old patterns, the longer we still stay within our shadow (conditioning) and cannot open our consciousness to self actualization. Society mirrors individual consciousness. The consciousness of the healer is an attractor to solve its own conflict.

j)        The Quantum believes in the right to perfect health for everyone, using creativity to manifest and maintain this state and prevent all negative imbalances. VERY IMPORTANT – BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE HAS A WAY OUT OF DISEASE. Perfect health is a Divine right. Your are the master of what is to become of your health. The knowledge of the true essence and the arrangement of the Divine, intuition and physical world is essential for the art of healing. The practitioner must assist the client through the transformation process from the ego (conditioning) to the quantum self. We must restore balance to the whole body and look at life from a different angle. Prevention is at the core of Quantum medicine. This is where movement of consciousness, everything has to be balanced and have the connection between mind and body.  The notion of balance is important. Living in the Ego and living in the quantum self have to be balanced in a life focused on spiritual growth

k)      The Quantum Healer has a compassionate awareness of global and world health. Our thought has an effect on the whole universe, By increasing awareness about a new paradigm, a critical mass can be reached where the art of healing can be transformed through new values and meanings. A Chinese proverb says that the power of a butterfly’s wings can be felt on the other side of the world. When we all gather together, we can create a shift. In a chaotic system, everything is connected through negative and positive feedback, to everything else. So does this relate to conscious vibrational medicine. The total feedback begins to amplify the small into the large and suddenly the unpredictable takes place.

l)        The Quantum healer envisions the full potential of human development and how this applies to the future of medicine.  Let’s promote evolutionary ethics in medicine research. Quantum healing is bringing back to modern medicine new meanings, new purpose, more humanity and awareness. Society is challenged with ethical problems, and no solutions are available. Let’s create new possibilities for the world, new visions, expand our horizon which will inturn give space for an answer. Our society needs new ways to look at things, to think outside the box and these are major ethical challenges.

You will be able to go through quantum creativity to see health as a transformative journey in all of the domains of the mind, body and spirit. The consequences between mental and physical, can be re-established at the intuitive level. The next stage is creating the capacity for making physical representation of the intuition – healing through the physical body. Quantum medicine is the down of new medicine. It opens the door to freedom of choice, to be treated in a more harmonious and conscious way .

The Intuitive mind is a sacred gift
And the rational mind a faithful servant.
We have created a society that honors the servant
and has forgotten the gift.
~Albert Einstein

Today, many people are learning that their health and well-being are more influenced by personal lifestyle choices than by any other influence. Heredity used to be thought of as the dominant determining factor as to whether one would live in good health or not. Our modern collective of knowledge and experience, as well as a growing body of research, is significantly changing this way of thinking. As a human race we are realizing that the way we live out our days, including choices in diet, exercise, personal spiritual beliefs and social activities, has more impact on overall health than any other single influence.

In the 21st Century, science, physics and spirituality are coming together as Quantum Healing. What exactly is Quantum healing? Quantum healing relates our whole beings, modern medicine and a new vision of incorporating healing with consciousness. First we need to understand what the term consciousness entails. Being aware of our own consciousness means being awake to our connection to our Life Source or Creator. Quantum Medicine has the capacity to enable every living being to heal itself with total consciousness. The right to heal belongs to everyone. We are the new embodiment of consciousness. Quantum medicine is a return to compassion and caring through the treatment of the whole person. It is grounded; it is spiritual and a visionary way to embrace matter through collective thoughts and actions.

The realization of this “new” thinking in medicine and healing is a major event in the world. We are a gaining an awareness of all that surrounds us, and becoming conscious of ourselves. The belief in the consecration between quantum physics and modern medicine is shifting how we look at the purpose of medicine and the “energy” crisis within. The marriage between these two concepts will continually grow aided by the high level of technology we are able to draw from in our modern time. We must shift our thinking from a reliance on pharmaceutical medical help, to the cooperative quantum model of medicine. Quantum medicine is a synergy of finding new ways to restore health using all the sciences, including biology, physics, and spirituality. The acknowledgement of all aspects of the health of a “whole being” creates an environment where the person receiving the direction toward healing, and the person using his or her education to guide down that path to wholeness, CAN HEAL TOGETHER.

Deepak Chopra talks about Perfect Health and states that perfect health, in its true form, is freedom from disease. This can only occur when the mental and physical bodies resonate with inner most spiritual thoughts that are in perfect harmony with the creator. So how do we achieve positive health? This health can be reached by all of us, only if we are ready to pursue the vital energy and consciousness within. Positive mental health radiates positive emotions.

Have you ever wondered why, when you are with people who seem, happy, grounded, that you feel that way as well? Do you have friends that you would rather be with because they are always upbeat? When we are in the presence of people with positive and radiant health, we feel vitality and unexplained tingles within the body. Lightness seems to permeate the body and joy bubbles up! You laugh more, talk more, feel better and feel overall contentment. These friends are vibrating at a higher frequency, and since we all want to be in a positive and healthy place, we like to have energetic, happy people in our lives.

DISEASE CANNOT BE TOTALLY HEALED AT ONLY A PHYSICAL LEVEL. THE MIND AND SPIRIT MUST BE HEALED AND ADDRESSED AS WELL.

This is one of my favorite quotes by Dr. Richard Gerber, M.D.

“Although physical factors do play an important role in health and illness, they are often mediated by other energetic and spiritual factors that modern medicine is only now beginning to appreciate.”

Quantum Medicine seeks to achieve a complete balance between mind and body to attain absolute health. As you have read this, what have you realized about yourself? Are there bad habits, negative feelings and wrong meanings that are impeding your healing?

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience. We limit ourselves when we do not see health as a complete picture, with all the dots connected. Everything is connected though our entire system of being; our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual selves CAN coexist, intrinsically entwined. It is our Divine Right to have perfect health. Consciousness is the source of positive healing.

Quantum medicine is a return to compassion and caring. It is bringing medicine back to its true intent of “Do No harm,” and at the same time promoting positive health. Quantum healing looks at disease and health together. And, clients move forward on their healing journey together with the practitioner. Quantum medicine is about a journey to grow in consciousness through a mind/body connection, which equates to emotional well being for a complete healing journey. A journey toward consciousness, growth, harmony, and peace, can lead to the absence of suffering.

The new season is upon us. Autumn, with its fall colours is a season of preparation. We gather herbs, harvest gardens, hunt for meat, and canning to prepare for winter. And of course, the flu season! With all of the hype in the media regarding the flu, let me share with you how I prepare at home as well as in the office to prevent bacteria and virus from invading my body as well as my environment.

Using certain medicinal essential oils, in their purest form, I always add 6-8 drops on my furnace filter. I normally use a blend of 2-3 oils because they synergistically work best together. This creates a healthy milieu that enables you to feel comfortable as well as safe from viruses and bacteria. I also recommend that you go to your favorite hardware store and purchase the air duct return filters. Place 2-3 drops on the small air filter. They not only help filter the dust particles, but they also will send small molecules of your essential oil blend into the air. Another way to keep the air that you breath healthy is by using an “Aromatic Nebulizing Diffuser.” They come in different shapes and sizes and can be purchased on-line through medical stores and through Holistic Herbal Health. The benefits of medicinal essential oils are:

· Kills bacterial and viruses

· Reduces mold

· When diffused, essential oils help specific health conditions, i.e. head colds, flu, allergies, and insomnia

· Essential oils from HHH have medicinal properties with no adulterations, and are pure and organic

Everyone wants to come home after a long day at the office, sit down, take some deep breaths, relax and feel confident that the air they are breathing is not only a fabulous fragrance, but is also a healthy and safe environment from the big bad world out there!  Check out the link to our web page and the essential oil  receipts listed.

Arthritis

Have you ever wondered why in this day and age we have so much disease? Look at our lifestyle. The way we eat, the way we live – in the fast lane. And we wonder why our bodies, relationships and materialistic things break down? 1.5 million people in the U.S. suffer from Arthritis.

Arthritis is an umbrella term for nearly 100 forms of joint (‘arthr”) inflammation (itis). Regardless of the pain’s location, it has multiple causes. It can stem from injury, the type of food we fuel our body with, and how we treat our bodies mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Most inflammation occurs when we consume grains such as wheat, and we are deficient in minerals. Dietary changes should include elimination of milk & dairy products, sugar, nightshade plants, tobacco, salt, smoking, alcohol and breads. Our daily food/fuel intake should include Phyto-nutrients, Calcium with Magnesium – a 5 to 1 ratio of calcium to magnesium is considered best for assimilation. Burdock is a detoxifying herb for conditions caused by “Overload” of toxins in the body. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO DO FOR THE BODY IS TO DETOXIFY.

Holistic Herbal Health has several methods to detoxify the body. The Far Infrared Sauna, which Dr. Oz (from The Oprah Show) suggests for detoxification, the Ion Cleanse footbath and the Electro-Myopulse. We have a full homeopathic and nutritional pharmacy to help clients get on their healing journey. We are the detox centre in Denver. Give us a call to help eliminate the pain in your body!

Staying healthy this flu season

O.K., so we all know about the swine flu and the hype that has been in the news everywhere. I have been bombarded by the questions of clients, family and friends as to what I would recommend. So I have outlined below what the different protocol are:

1) To prevent the swine flu

~Make sure you wash all fruits and vegetables when you get home from the store. Our hands have the most bacteria and viruses on them. You can wash them with HHH’s “ImmuFlu” and rinse off. The “ImmuFlu” spray, which I have combined with Essential Oils, fights off unwanted bacteria and viruses, so you can also use it instead of hand wipes. Many antibacterial had wipes and hand sanitizers are full of chemicals and alcohol.

~Take your vitamin C daily – I recommend 1,000 mg/day

~If you choose not get the vaccine, but still want to be protected naturally, through homeopathics, HHH has the remedies

  • FLU TONE is imprinted energetically with the H1N1 virus. For children, take 2 drops 1X/day for 3 months. For adults, 8 drops 1X/day for 3 months
  • XENOFORCE which is a capsule full of phyto nutrients, builds the immune system, is an anti-xenobiotic and helps keep the mesenchyme clear (connective tissue ie: ligaments, muscles, etc
  • DRINK ½ of your body weight in ounces of water per day i.e.: 50 lbs = 25 oz

2) If you do feel like you are getting a cold or flu

~Take up to 3,000 mg of vitamin C per day.

~Come in for an ion cleanse ASAP. This helps the body rid itself of the virus. And besides, it always feels good to have your feet in hot water and to be pampered while the body is working hard.

~These are the homeopathic remedies I recommend for when you feel ill:

  • Viru Chord – 20 drops every hour for day 1, then every 4 hours for day 2 and 2X/day for day
  • Flu tone – 30 drops every hour for day 1, then every 4 hours for day 2 and 2X/day for day 3
  • Core Mycelia blend – for viral infections, immune buildings (made from 7 Chinese mushrooms in a liposome base for immediate absorption
  • Temple Guardian – lung support. This type of flu is settling in the lungs and we want to eliminate any congestion in that area. This Chinese botanical is for cold/flu and congestion

***Is there a possible connection between the pharmaceutical company’s revenue projections and the media’s willingness to overwhelm the public with excessive, half-truth reporting?

Unfortunately, the mass media thrive on dramatizing and exaggerating negative news. They are particularly thrilled when their efforts to “spin” information succeeds at causing public fear and confusion.

I believe an outbreak of any novel virus, such as H1N1, should be contained by pandemic prevention initiatives. At the same time the public should be kept informed and given adequate prevention and treatment information. So how do we take care of ourselves during a stressful time such as this one?

I suggest that we remain level-headed and remind ourselves of the following:

1) A strong immune system and clean internal/external environment are the keys to prevention and reversal of the flu and other diseases.

2) Proper nutrition is a must! You should regularly consume fresh fruits and vegetables, low sugar foods, exercise regularly, reduce daily stress, and get sufficient rest. AVOID immune destroyers such as foods high in SATURATED FATS. And the worst culprits are the whites: white sugar and white flour products.

Please remember that it may be time consuming to practice preventative health, including what has been listed above. But the down time when we are sick is worse. Also, we cannot make up the time lost with family and friends, and the loss of time and energy to do the things we love.
